James Donnelly, Founder & CEO of Castle Group Receives South Florida Sun Sentinel’s annual Excalibur Business Leader of the Year Award

Plantation, FL – May 08, 2019 – Castle Group, the premier choice for community association management, is proud to announce that Founder & CEO James Donnelly, was honored with the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s Excalibur Business Leader of the Year Award for Broward County in the Large Business Category

Six top executives from Broward and Palm Beach counties were announced Tuesday as winners of the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s annual Excalibur Business Leader of the Year Awards for 2018. For the 41st year, the Sun Sentinel reviewed nominations of Broward and Palm Beach county executives from the private and public sectors. New to the competition was “Next Excalibur: Recognizing Young Professionals in Business.” It is designed to recognize up-and-coming leaders.

Since 1978, the Excalibur Awards have recognized top executives for their long-established achievements in business and civic activities. The program names a Business Leader of the Year and Small Business Leader of the Year for Broward County, and a Business Leader of the Year and Small Business Leader of the Year for Palm Beach County.
The Next Excalibur award, likewise, recognizes up-and-coming leaders in each county.

The winners of the Business Leaders of the Year Awards are:

Joseph Pores, co-founder, CEO, Call 4 Health, Palm Beach County, Large.
Andrew Cagnetta, CEO, Transworld Business Advisors, Broward County, Small.
Lisa McCrary-Tokes, co-owner, chief operating officer, Armorvue Window & Door, Palm Beach County, Small.
Gino Santorio, president, CEO, Broward Health, Next Excalibur, Broward County.
Connor Lynch, chief operating officer, Plastridge Insurance, Next Excalibur, Palm Beach County.

“The Sun Sentinel Excalibur Award is a distinguished honor, and I feel privileged to be able to recognize these great leaders in both business and community,” said Nancy Meyer, publisher of the Sun Sentinel. “Our recipients are individuals who have dedicated themselves to improving the lives of those who call South Florida home. They have grown their businesses here, they have given back and they are believers in our region’s future.”

The winners were selected by a panel of past Excalibur honorees and senior managers of Sun Sentinel Media Group after considering nominations from the public. The panelists considered the nominees’ successes within their respective businesses and their commitments to innovation, company growth and their communities.
