Plantation, FL – October 21, 2020 – Castle Group and Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship (HBCE) have partnered to develop a new Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration degree in Property Management and Real Estate. This new major will provide students with the information, skills and knowledge needed to excel in this industry.
“The NSU Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship is proud to offer this new bachelor’s degree that will help to develop our students into confident, capable and caring business professionals,” said Andrew Rosman, Dean of the Huizenga College of Business. “This program fully encompasses a variety of real estate principles and property management course work to give our students the edge they need to be successful upon graduation.”
Students will be exposed to several aspects of the property management and real estate industry including valuation, maintenance, and operations. In addition to core business course work, classes offered include Real Estate Practices, Principles and Law; Residential Property Management; Commercial Property Management; and Hospitality, Resort, Cruise Ship and Casino Management, to name a few.
Castle Group is a property management organization based in Plantation, Fla. Its Founder and CEO James Donnelly partnered with NSU to create this new major which is the only one of its kind offered in the entire State of Florida.
“It was very exciting to pioneer the first minor program back in 2016 that would provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the property management industry,” said Donnelly. “Seeing the program grow into a major is very rewarding. Students will graduate having many employment prospects post-graduation through established partnerships with industry professionals.”
